When I hire or award MJK the job, when will you start?
- There are lots of variables including the weather that have to be taken into account before starting a job. Great communication and exceeding customer's exceptions are key to any successful business. MJK Electric will explain, coordinate, and do everything in its power to expedite the start and finish of your job.
Is a permit required for my job?
- That depends on the work involved. Typically repairs to existing electrical do not require permitting. Permits are required when upgrading or adding on to existing electrical. They are also mandatory for all new construction.
How much is the permit cost?
- It depends on the city. Most of Broward County uses City of Fort Lauderdale as a guideline.
- Minimum permit fee is $101.95 in City of Fort Lauderdale

- MJK Electric charges customers $125.00 for "running a permit". No problem if the customer desires to avoid this fee and apply for or "run" their own permits.
